Good Wood's journey was sparked when our founder, Dave Puncochar, acquired a 106-year-old Victorian home and embarked on a mission to match its original poplar flooring. This led him to discover "good wood" from the 1700's and 1800's with a rich history and authenticity that can't be found today. It was this revelation that ignited the vision to repurpose these invaluable remnants into the very signature of a home.
